Nik’s love affair with the Kitchener / Waterloo area began in the early 90’s when he enrolled at the University of Waterloo.  While he worked toward his Bachelor of Arts degree, Nik also competed at the highest level in Canadian university basketball.  A four-year Warrior, Nik was honoured with the team’s captaincy in his final two seasons.

The discipline and leadership acumen Nik developed as an athlete has paid dividends as a sales representative for REMAX Twin City Realty Inc., Waterloo’s #1 brokerage. Nik’s relentless work ethic has catapulted him to elite levels of production, earning him countless accolades, including the REMAX Hall of Fame Award in 2008, nine Platinum Awards, five 100% Club Awards and REMAX’s Lifetime Achievement Award in 2018.

The real estate world is a natural fit for such a charismatic individual; nevertheless, it wasn’t Nik’s first career choice.  He completed his Bachelor of Education at the University of Windsor and taught English and Math from 2001 to 2006.  Nik’s time in the classroom helped foster the communications skills and patience required to calmly guide buyers and sellers through the sales process. They’ve also come in handy while he and his wife juggle six active lives at home.
